The time has come! You’re officially embarking on your journey as a university student… A McGill student! And I couldn’t be prouder of you. Although I have full faith that you’ll not only succeed, but excel, I put together a few things to help you as you begin your first semester.
On each slide, simply tap the down arrow icon to move on to the next section.
To help you stay organized during your semester, I have made you a Notion student dashboard, newly-revised from previous ones! You are free to use it, and you are free to ask for my help if there’s anything you’d like to customize and don’t know how to do.
From experience, I know there is a lot to get used to, and a lot you need to do, when starting university. It’s for this reason that I created a document, “New McGill Student 101”, walking you through all the important things you must do early on. From obtaining your Student ID & student OPUS, using your student email, and more, I’ve written everything you need to know concisely and in one place. Please give it a read, for much of its contents are time sensitive!
It can be found within the Notion template mentioned above, however, to get to this specific page more quickly, click here.
I know university is expensive, and that the costs extend beyond just tuition. I’m so proud of you for the diligence you have shown in saving money for school. However, to make things at least a little bit easier for you, I am giving you $100 towards your university textbooks!
